Coach of the Year Nomination Form

Please complete the following Coach of the Year Nomination Form.   The form should be completed ASAP after the spring district meet.

Use the following selection criteria when selecting a nominee.

Selection Criteria:

I. Must be a current member of the TTCA and in good standing.
II. Should be a builder of programs, either from the ground up or up grading an existing program and/or facilities. The following should be taken into consideration: coaching staff; scheduling; numbers in the program; quality of instruction; publicity.
III. Teaching with positive results by teaching aids and by example; concepts of good sportsmanship; love of the game; respect for authority, opponents, rules and self.
IV. Teaching with positive results; knowledge of rules and the skills necessary for the playing of the game.

* In order to honor more deserving coaches, it is suggested that a period of 5 years pass before a coach is eligible to win the award an additional time.
