2020 TTCA Scholarships

It is with a great honor that we announce the recipients of this year’s “Steve Buck” and “Betty Sue Welch” Texas Tennis Coaches Association Scholarship winners for 2020. On behalf of the TTCA Board of Directors, please join me in congratulating all these well-deserved recipients for their hard work and commitment and wish them luck as they embark on their newest journey in education.


"Betty Sue Welch" Scholarship Winners

 

 

McKenna Madis, from Keller Central High School, is the daughter of Coach Wes Madis. McKenna will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station where she plans on majoring in International Studies.

 
     
 

 

Kylann Griffith, from Industrial High School, is the daughter of Coach Kerry Griffith. Kylann will be attending Houston Baptist University where she plans on majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.

 

   
 

 

Sarah Castleberry, from Vernon High School, is the daughter of Coach Carrie Castleberry. Sarah will be attending Dallas Baptist University where she plans on majoring in Business Administration. 

 
     
     

 

McKenna Bryan, from Abilene High School, is the daughter of Coach Stacy Bryan. McKenna will be attending Hardin-Simmons University where she plans on majoring in Education.

 

   
 

 

Dylan Baggett, from Billy Ryan High School - Denton ISD, is the daughter of Coach Steven Baggett. Dylan will be attending University of Texas in Austin where she plans on majoring in PreMed.

 

   
 

 

Erin Landry, from  International School of the Americas - San Antonio, is the daughter of Coach Jeffrey Landry. Erin will be attending Trinity University or Southwestern University where she plans on majoring in Education.

 
     
 

 

Cassidy Burris, from Birdville High School, is the daughter of Coach Celina Burris. Cassidy will be attending  Texas A&M University in College Station where she plans on majoring in Nursing.

Aaron Quy, from  Weatherford High School, is the Son of Coach  Steve Quy. Aaron will be attending  North Central Texas College / University of North Texas in Denton where he plans on majoring in Aviation Logistics.

 

 

   
 

 

William Booth, from  Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, is the Son of Coach   Budd Booth.  William will be attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he plans on majoring in Undeclared Life Sciences
