2023 UIL Team Tennis Playoff Information
The UIL would like to thank you for your time, dedication, and commitment to the schools in your competitive district. Please review the updated post season information below in its entirety, as it contains important information as you head into the end of district play and the start of post-season.
The District Certification deadline is Saturday, October 7th. We encourage you to submit this information early if possible. Here is the link to the team tennis district certification form - Team Tennis District Certification Form (As a reminder, dual matches are allowed prior to the bi-district round of the post season.) Also, we encourage you to schedule contests as early as possible before deadlines to account for season disruptions.

UIL Playoff Reporting Forms: Coaches are required to submit playoff results immediately following their contest for each round of post-season play. The winning school should submit playoff match results on the UIL website using the following link - Team Tennis Playoff Results Form.
Sites - Sites for all rounds of playoffs prior to the Regional Tournament are to be selected by the teams involved. See Section 1208 (o)(p) of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules. If schools cannot agree, they must flip a coin.
- Neutral Sites: A site mid-point or near mid-point, or a site agreed on by both schools as neutral, is a neutral site. Unless mutually agreeable, a site cannot be neutral if its distance from either school is more than two-thirds the total distance between the schools.
- Home Sites: When two schools flip for two separate sites other than their home field or court, the sites are considered home sites unless both sites are near mid-point.
- Mid-Point Sites: Unless mutually agreed otherwise, post-district contests in the team sports of baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, team tennis, and volleyball shall be a mid-point site for schools located more than 100 miles apart.
