Sergio was a beloved friend, teacher, tennis coach, civic leader, and mentor to many in Tyler County. For over five decades, he taught in the classroom, coached on the tennis courts, and served his church and community with joy and pride. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Woodville where he served as a deacon, choir member, and on the missions team. In addition, he was a member of the Texas Singing Men’s choir and served as a Music Director for various churches in Tyler County for over 40 years. Of his many personal and professional achievements, two of his greatest honors include being inducted into the Texas Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame and receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Woodville Letterman’s Club.

Known for his kindness, selflessness, and easy-going nature, his greatest guiding force was his Christian faith, which shaped how he served his family, church, and community with Christ-like love. His personal motto, "Remember who you are and who you represent," became the Ramos/Miller family motto and reflected a life faithfully devoted to Christ, whom he now rejoices with in Heaven.

He will be dearly missed by his family, loved ones, and countless friends.
